What were the clinical efficacy results for Jublia?
The safety and effectiveness of the once-daily use of Jublia for the treatment of onychomycosis of the toenail were assessed in two 52 week prospective, multi-center, randomized, double-blinded trials in patients 18 years and older (18-70 years old) with 20% to 50% infection of the toenail. The study results showed complete cure rate, defined as no evidence of fungal infection at week 52, in 15.2% to 17.8% of patients receiving Jublia (n=1236) compared with 3.3% to 5.5% receiving placebo (n=415) for the treatment of onychomycosis of the toenail.
